Waitlist -- Due to high demand, the Virginia F. Wood Early Learning Center establishes a waitlist every February after we complete open enrollment and placements for the following school year.  Those who are on the waitlist will be contacted by an administrator if a spot opens.

Program Eligibility

The TOTS program is for WWS District employees only and service children 12 weeks old through age 2 by August 1.  The ratio of adult to student in the infant classroom is 1:4; ones is 1:5; twos is 1:5; and children 30 months and older is 1:7.

Program Details

The TOTS program uses Creative Curriculum along with program designed instruction. Each classroom is set up to meet your child's needs and provide a safe and learning environment including a play kitchen area, dining and play area, changing area, and cubbies for each child. Based on the child's age and classroom, cribs or cots are provided during nap times.

At the Virginia F. Wood Early Learning Center, we provide a nurturing and loving environment where children are given the opportunity to grow and thrive. Our goal is to give the children the foundational building blocks to learn to communicate with people around them and to take their first steps in navigating in their own world.

The TOTS program provides childcare options for full time care Monday through Friday with a 4:30 PM or 5:30 PM pick up, or part-time care for two days to attend Mondays and Fridays or a three day plan to attend Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please see the fee schedule for details.

Food & Nutrition

Infants are fed food brought from home. Toddlers are provided breakfast and an AM and PM snack. Lunches are prepared by the Food Service staff, and families pay for lunches.
